Who is Tyler Robinson?

He has no known prior criminal record.
Politically, he is registered to vote as an unaffiliated voter and has been inactive (hasn’t voted in recent general elections).

Robinson graduated from Pine View High School in 2021. At that time, he was performing well in school.
He briefly attended Utah State University on a scholarship in a pre-engineering track, but only for one semester.
He later enrolled in an electrical apprenticeship program at Dixie Technical College. At the time of arrest, he was a third-year apprentice.

The victim, Charlie Kirk, was gunned down at Utah Valley University during a rally on 9–10 September 2025 (depending on source). Kirk was speaking at a Turning Point USA event.
Robinson is alleged to have fired a bolt-action rifle from a rooftop approximately 200 yards (≈ 180–200 m) from where Kirk was speaking.
